As I continue to work on the southwest coast of Florida, I've found that the area embraces color and pattern differently. Coastal blues were always welcomed, as were shades of soft greens. The area has its own history and vibe. The seasonal community ends up extending its stay longer and longer. Our clients in the area embrace a maximalist sensibility and an aesthetic that celebrates the art of the mix - eclectic, bold, and unexpected. Staying true to my design philosophy, where rules are meant to be broken, I think it is important to chart a design course that feels personal.
