Yes!  We love working with other builders and contractors. On the majority of projects, we will work with them from the initial moment clients are interested in renovating or building. It helps to achieve a more holistic and seamless approach to design as well as maximizing efficiencies.

We work with like-minded, quality-driven premium brands across of broad range of price points.  We seek product partners with an attention to detail, workmanship and a passion for design.  To that end, we will work with you to find the right brands for your spaces and your investment level.  Our goal is not get to you spend more, but to help you spend smartly in the pursuit of a fearlessly curated space.

Yes.  We will always source professionally trained, licensed workers.

We know that designing a space that is magazine-worthy can be a very detailed process, which for some will be a new experience.  Lucky for you, we’re here to make the process fun and enjoyable.  All of our projects are “inclusive offerings”, which means that our proposals are based on our studio managing all aspects of the project holistically, rather than at an hourly-basis or piecemeal.  From design to sourcing to styling and everything in-between, we handle the full scope of the project as detailed in your custom proposal.  This allows you to focus on enjoying the process rather than tracking designer hours.  Our clients love the peace of mind that this offers.  It helps to create a collaborative environment that maximizes productivity and results.

All our proposals are valid for 60 days from the date the proposal is issued.  Beyond 60 days we cannot guarantee pricing, timing, and services for the initial rate quoted as our studio load fills up quickly and we want to ensure we are providing best-in-class, dedicated attention to our clients.

mr alex TATE works with a well-curated list of providers that are as passionate about design as we are.  We geek out about researching products and brands.  We are always looking for new brands entering the industry who deliver with top-marks, high quality, smart designs.  To that end, we work alongside trade and non-trade products lines and have no exclusivity agreements with any brands.

Unlike traditional interior design studios, we DO NOT charge by the hour.  Instead, our studio fees are based on a full-service, flat-fee, “Inclusive Offering” model that is unique to our studio.  Our model is based on a holistic approach to the design process.  Our model creates more collaborative environment where clients can focus on making decisions and enjoying the overall process.  Several factor are taken into consideration as it relates to our studio.  This would be something we would discuss with you in detail during the consultation.

No.  Each project is different and many times our clients have pieces they would like to hold onto and perhaps “refresh”.  We believe in keeping what’s important to you and incorporating that into the overall design.  We love mixing old and new!

We want to ensure that the design for your space(s) is as comprehensive as possible.  Once you have approved the proposal we will begin designing your spaces.  We take a lot of pride in our designs which is why we do not offer them gratis.  They are offered as part of the paid Studio services that commence upon acceptance of our design proposal.  The initial mood-boards provided as part of the on-site consultation give you a sneak peek of what we’re are thinking for your space(s) and are offered for directional purposes.  Your designs will be delivered in the form of 3D renderings or detailed mood-boards, depending on what is discussed as part of the scope of services.  The design presentations are typically scheduled for 4-8 weeks from the moment the proposal is approved and payment is received.

Yes!  One of the things that makes us unique is that we pass on Trade discounts to you.  As a note, Trade discounts typically range from 10-40% and vary by provider/manufacturer/retailer.
